Naseem Shah acknowledges revamped Karachi stadium
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah inaugurated on Tuesday the revamped Karachi stadium ahead of the tri-nation and Champions Trophy matches.
According to details, CM Murad had represented President Asif AlI Zardari in the inauguration ceremony of the Karachi stadium. The chief minister extended felicitations to the nation over the completion of the renovated stadium in record time.
Expressing his thoughts, CM Murad said: “The Sindh government is looking to make all-out efforts to uplift the sports.”
“The Sindh government had uplifted the stadium back in 2018,” said CM Murad.
Meanwhile, like at the Gaddafi stadium, the Pakistan players had also revealed their Champions Trophy at the Karachi stadium as well.
Expressing his thoughts, Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah acknowledged the newly revamped stadium in Karachi.
He hoped that the fans from Karachi would extend support to the Green Shirts for tomorrow’s match against South Africa in the tri-nation series.
Moreover, Pakistan's former captain Babar Azam said, “We play for the sake of people’s love. We want the same support for the forthcoming tournament.”
“I am having a complaint from the Karachites that they do not come to watch matches,” said Azam.
