England beat India in 3rd Test at Lord’s, lead series 2-1

England defeated India by 22 runs in the third Test at Lord's, gaining a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.

According to the statistics, the whole Indian side was bowled out for 170 runs in pursuit of England's 193-run goal, with Jadeja scoring 61 runs and KL Rahul scoring 39, while the majority of the Indian players failed to reach double figures.

England's Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes bowled exceptionally well, collecting three wickets each, while Kars took two and Shoaib Bashir and Chris Woakes each took one.

Earlier, England won the toss and batted first, scoring 387 runs, with Joe Root leading the way with 104 runs, Braden Carus scoring 56, Jamie Smith 51, and Ollie Pope scoring 44.

India responded to England's 387 runs with 387 runs of its own, ending England's lead. KL Rahul struck a century for India, followed by Rishabh Pant (74), Jadeja (72), and Karun Nair (40).

In the second innings, England set India a goal of 193 runs, but the entire Indian squad was bowled out for 170 runs, resulting in a 22-run loss.
