Tri-nation series will feature the first two matches at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium
The New Zealand cricket team has arrived in Lahore from Auckland via Dubai, all set to compete in the upcoming tri-nation series in Pakistan.
Upon arrival, the team was transported to their hotel under heavy security measures. The squad will rest today and begin preparations for the series with their first practice session tomorrow.
A joint press conference with the captains of Pakistan and New Zealand took place before the series commences. South Africa will be arriving in Lahore on Friday and will kick off their training sessions the next day.
The tri-nation series, which begins on February 8, will feature the first two matches at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, with the remainder of the matches and the final held at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.
Pakistan plays New Zealand on February 8, followed by New Zealand’s match against South Africa on February 10. Pakistan will face South Africa in a day-night game at the National Stadium Karachi on February 12, with the final scheduled for February 14.
