Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha being considered as potential replacements
Pakistan’s T20 captain Mohammad Rizwan is likely to be removed from his position as the team undergoes significant changes ahead of the upcoming tour of New Zealand, sources revealed on Monday.
According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering Mohammad Haris and Salman Ali Agha as potential replacements for the T20 captaincy.
Meanwhile, several senior players, including Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, are expected to be left out of the T20 squad for the New Zealand series.

Moreover, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf will reportedly not be part of the ODI squad, as PCB looks to experiment with new players. Instead, young pacers Akif Javed and Mohammad Wasim Jr are expected to be included in the squad, alongside wicketkeeper-batter Muhammad Haris.
Meanwhile, all-rounders Khushdil Shah and Faheem Ashraf are set to retain their places in the national squad.
The PCB has not officially confirmed these changes, but sources suggest that a formal announcement regarding the T20 and ODI squads for the New Zealand tour will be made soon.
