India dismisses Bangladesh for 228 in Champions Trophy
Mohammad Shami’s outstanding five-wicket haul (5-53) helped India bundle out Bangladesh for 228 in the second match of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai stadium on Thursday.
Opting to bat first, Bangladesh had a dreadful start, losing their first five wickets for just 35 runs.
However, a resilient 154-run partnership between Jaker Ali and Towhid Hridoy provided some stability to Bangladesh’s innings.
Hridoy played a superb knock, scoring 100 off 118 balls, hitting six boundaries and two sixes. Jaker Ali contributed with a solid half-century, smashing four boundaries.
For India, Mohammad Shami led the bowling attack with a brilliant five-wicket performance.
Harshit Rana supported him with three wickets, while Axar Patel claimed two. Pandya, Jadeja, and Yadav went wicketless in the match.
